Nightshift:
Greyhaven

The adult shelf, after dark. A night-shift game set in the harbour city of The Greyhaven Mysteries — the same working harbour, the same laws of proof, kept through the hours when the freight still moves and the ferries cross the dark water.

01 — The Shift

The harbour, on its
night watch

Greyhaven does not close when the light goes. The night shift is the city at work with the crowds gone — and this game keeps that watch.

Freight moves before the commuters do, and it moves through the night as well: the cranes reposition their loads against schedules revised while the city sleeps, and the ferries cross the dark water with their cabin lights reflected in broken lines. Someone is always on the harbour — towage crewed the old way, one to drive and one to do the ropes, lamps lit along the quays, the record kept.

Nightshift: Greyhaven belongs on the Mysteries shelf: it is the harbour city of the novels, met on its own night terms. What the night conceals, and what can be shown of it afterwards, is the city’s oldest question — attested, or it didn’t happen. The game asks it after dark; the books hold the answers.
